In our view, you probably can't have too much pre-marriage preparation.

We have been conducting pre-marriage counselling with couples since the early nineties, as well as counselling couples (married and un-married) who have experienced dfifficulties in their relationships. We know that human beings are wonderfully complex and creative. Putting them together in a legal relationship for life has tremendous potential for good. But we also know that there are risks involved and that there is also potential for difficulties.

We want to help people prepare for marriage and give themselves a greater chance of success. The potential rewards of a good marriage are too great to pass by. The potential pain of failure should be avoided at all costs.

Your marriage is worth preparing for. Don't just drift into something so important. Do everything you can to minimise the risks. Even if you don't want to use our pre-marriage services, do some preparation.
